Almost got into a shouting match over Johnny Lee...
Our IT guy likes Sherlock, and I obviously hold a torch for Elementary, so I may have had a teensy disagreement with him. I just find Benedict’s performance too cold and aloof, I guess. I know that, canonically, it’s how Sherlock acted, but JLM is more flawed, more real to me. Different strokes for different folks?

So I got into grad school. How does it feel?
On one hand, relief. On the other hand, unease. I’m going to be in Lubbock for at least two more years now, and quite honestly, I’m not sure how to feel about it. But I’m going to be in the department I love, and close to most of the people I love, which is no small feat.
